Hello internet! It’s been a while hasn’t it?

They say front end tech moves quicky. And well - they’re not wrong!

I wanted to start writing again, and realized that my old blog tech stack was outdated. It was built on:

• React class components
• Gatsby
• surge.sh
• namecheap
• no SSL

But times have changed. Here is what I wanted in 2023 that I was sorely missing:

• Astro (wanted React 18+, but with support for alternatives such as solidjs)
• Typescript
• SSL
• Tailwind

For now I’ve kept around the old blog, but I’ll probably migrate things over eventually.

I have a bit of a problem with collecting domains, and rather than keep my shortest one sitting on the shelf, I decided to use vizin.io.

Less is more: 8 characters > 27 characters.
